A No Barriers x Two Blind Brothers Collaboration

Live A No Barriers Life

The Why

Built for the Trail.

No Barriers exists to unleash the human potential found in us all — empowering people living with disabilities through adventure, leadership, and transformative experiences. At the heart of that mission is Erik Weihenmayer, who in 2001 became the first blind person to summit Mount Everest. This year marks the 25th anniversary of that climb.

Brad and Bryan Manning — the Two Blind Brothers — built their brand to create awareness, education, and connection for the blind and low vision community. This hiking sock is where those two missions meet — co-created with Erik, engineered for the trail, and worn for the cause.

Turns out you don't need perfect sight to climb Mt. Everest. You just need great socks!

A sock to finally rival the CoolMax! I can't wait to test these out this summer at Cold Spring!

There are lots of types of blindness. We have Stargardt's, a type of macular degeneration that means we lose vision in the center of the retina. This simulator gives you peek at what its like to peep with our peepers.
